Oleamide (CAS 301-02-0), also named 9-octadecenamide or oleic acid amides, is a high-purity unsaturated fatty acid amides produced from refined oleic acid. Supplied as white free-flowing powder or pastille beads with a characteristic mild odour, Oleamide is a proven slip agent, anti-blocking agent and internal lubricant for polyolefin resins such as PE and PP. It migrates to the polymer surface to lower the coefficient of friction, reduce film blocking and improve machinability without affecting printing or sealing performance.

Refined oleic acid reacts with ammonia under controlled temperature and pressure to form the corresponding amides. The crude product is then degassed, bleached, filtered and flaked, delivering a consistent high-purity Oleamide with stable melting point and colour. Every batch is inspected for assay, acid value, iodine value and moisture before packing.
Q: What is the recommended dosage of Oleamide?
A: Typical addition is 0.05% - 0.30% by weight of resin, adjustable according to slip and anti-blocking requirements.
Q: Is Oleamide suitable for food contact film?
A: Food-contact grades are available; please confirm the specific compliance requirement so we can supply the matching grade.
Q: Can you provide a free sample?
A: Yes, a free sample of 1 kg is available, shipping cost to be discussed.
