Zinc oxide or high-grade zinc ash is reacted with sulphuric acid to produce zinc sulfate solution. The solution is purified to remove iron and heavy metals, then concentrated and crystallised under controlled evaporation. The monohydrate crystals are dried, screened and packed to give a stable, uniform powder with consistent zinc content.
Q: What is the difference between the monohydrate and heptahydrate?
A: The monohydrate contains about 35% zinc versus about 22% in the heptahydrate, making the monohydrate more economical for dry products and transport.
Q: Is the product suitable for fertiliser blending?
A: Yes, the free-flowing powder and low moisture make it ideal for compound and bulk blending fertilisers.
Q: Can you supply feed grade?
A: Yes, feed grade and technical grade are available. Please confirm your application for the correct specification.
